TERMS & CONDITIONS

1. Appointments and Booking

• Appointments can be made online, by phone, or via social media.

• A valid phone number and/or email is required to book.

• Appointment confirmations will be sent via text or email.

• Walk-ins are welcome but subject to availability.

• We recommend booking in advance to secure your preferred date and time.

2. Cancellation Policy

• We require a minimum of 24 hours' notice for cancellations or rescheduling.

• Cancellations made less than 24 hours before the appointment may be subject to a cancellation fee of up to 50% of the service cost.

• For premium or extended services (such as nail art, full sets, or special designs), a 48-hour cancellation notice is required.

• Repeated cancellations within a short period may result in the requirement of a non-refundable deposit for future bookings.

3. No-Show Policy

• Failure to arrive for a scheduled appointment without prior notice will be considered a no-show.

• A no-show fee of up to 100% of the booked service cost may be charged.

• After two consecutive no-shows, future appointments will require a non-refundable deposit at the time of booking.

• We understand emergencies happen — please contact us as soon as possible if you are unable to make your appointment.

4. Late Arrivals

• We kindly ask clients to arrive 5 minutes before their scheduled appointment time.

• If you arrive more than 15 minutes late, we may need to modify your service to fit the remaining time or reschedule your appointment entirely.

• If a late arrival causes the service to extend into another client's time, the full original service may not be possible.

• Late arrivals will be charged the full price of the originally booked service.

5. Pricing and Payment

• All prices are listed on our service menu and are subject to change without prior notice.

• Payment is due in full at the time of service unless otherwise arranged.

• We accept cash, credit cards, debit cards, and approved digital payment methods (Zelle, Venmo, CashApp, etc.).

• Prices may vary depending on nail length, complexity of design, additional materials, or time required.

• A consultation may be required for custom or complex services, and pricing will be confirmed before the service begins.

6. Deposits

• Certain services or first-time bookings may require a non-refundable deposit to secure the appointment.

• Deposits will be applied toward the total cost of the service.

• If the client cancels within the allowed timeframe, the deposit may be transferred to a future appointment (at management's discretion).

• Deposits are non-refundable in the case of no-shows or late cancellations.

7. Refund and Satisfaction Policy

• Your satisfaction is our top priority. If you are not completely happy with your service, please notify us within 48 hours of your appointment.

• We will gladly offer a complimentary correction or adjustment within 7 days of the original service.

• Refunds are not offered for completed services, but we are committed to making it right.

• Any damage caused by the client after the service (improper care, use of harsh chemicals, physical impact, etc.) is not eligible for corrections.

• Claims made after 7 days will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis.

8. Health, Safety, and Hygiene

• B&B by Vanessa Nails and Beauty Salon adheres to the highest standards of hygiene and sanitation.

• All tools and equipment are sterilized and/or disposed of after each use in compliance with state and local health regulations.

• We use hospital-grade disinfectants and single-use disposable items where applicable.

• Clients with any known allergies, skin conditions, infections, or contagious diseases must inform us before the service begins.

• We reserve the right to refuse service if we observe signs of infection, fungal conditions, or any health concern that may pose a risk to the client or our staff.

9. Allergies and Sensitivities

• Please inform us of any known allergies or sensitivities to products such as acrylics, gels, adhesives, acetone, or other chemicals before your service.

• While we take every precaution, B&B by Vanessa is not liable for allergic reactions to products used during services, provided proper disclosure was requested.

• A patch test may be recommended for certain products or services.

10. Liability Waiver

• B&B by Vanessa Nails and Beauty Salon is not responsible for any injury, allergic reaction, or damage that may occur as a result of services provided, except in cases of proven negligence.

• Clients receive services at their own risk and acknowledge that nail and beauty treatments carry inherent risks.

• The salon is not liable for any loss or damage to personal belongings left on the premises.

• By booking and receiving services, clients acknowledge and accept these terms.

11. Children and Minors

• Children under the age of 12 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian at all times.

• Services for minors under 16 require written consent from a parent or legal guardian.

• For safety reasons, children who are not receiving services should not be left unattended in the salon.

• We are not responsible for unsupervised children on the premises.

12. Gift Cards and Vouchers

• Gift cards and vouchers are available for purchase and can be applied toward any service.

• Gift cards are non-refundable and cannot be exchanged for cash.

• Lost or stolen gift cards cannot be replaced unless proof of purchase is provided.

• Gift cards do not have an expiration date unless otherwise stated at the time of purchase.

• Promotional vouchers may have specific terms, conditions, and expiration dates.

13. Salon Conduct

• We strive to create a welcoming, relaxing, and respectful environment for all clients and staff.

• Any form of harassment, discrimination, abusive language, or disruptive behavior will not be tolerated and may result in immediate termination of services without refund.

• We kindly ask clients to keep phone calls and device volume to a minimum out of respect for other guests.

• Photography and recording are allowed for personal use with the consent of the nail technician.

14. Intellectual Property and Social Media

• B&B by Vanessa may photograph completed nail art and beauty work for portfolio, social media, and marketing purposes.

• If you prefer not to have your nails or service photographed, please inform us before or during your appointment.

• All designs, content, images, and branding associated with B&B by Vanessa are the intellectual property of the salon and may not be reproduced without written permission.

15. Changes to Terms and Conditions

• B&B by Vanessa Nails and Beauty Salon reserves the right to update or modify these Terms and Conditions at any time.

• Updated terms will be posted on our website and/or displayed in the salon.

• Continued use of our services after any changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.

• It is the client's responsibility to review these terms periodically.

The following legal disclaimer applies to all services, products, and interactions provided by B&B by Vanessa Nails and Beauty Salon. By using our services, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to this disclaimer in its entirety.

16.1 Assumption of Risk

All beauty and nail care services carry inherent risks, including but not limited to allergic reactions, skin irritation, nail damage, infection, and other adverse effects. By booking and receiving services at B&B by Vanessa Nails and Beauty Salon, the client voluntarily assumes all risks associated with such services. Clients are responsible for disclosing any pre-existing medical conditions, allergies, sensitivities, medications, or health concerns that may affect the safety or outcome of any treatment.

16.2 No Guarantee of Results

While B&B by Vanessa Nails and Beauty Salon strives for excellence in every service, individual results may vary depending on factors such as natural nail condition, skin type, aftercare practices, lifestyle, and other individual variables. We do not guarantee specific outcomes, longevity of treatments, or identical replication of reference images or designs. Inspiration images are used as a guide, and final results may differ due to natural variations.

16.3 Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, B&B by Vanessa Nails and Beauty Salon, its owner, employees, contractors, and affiliates shall not be held liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from or related to: (a) the use of our services or products; (b) any allergic reaction, injury, infection, or adverse effect resulting from treatments; (c) dissatisfaction with aesthetic results; (d) loss, theft, or damage to personal belongings on the premises; (e) any interruption or cancellation of services due to unforeseen circumstances. Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount paid for the specific service giving rise to the claim.

16.4 Indemnification

The client agrees to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless B&B by Vanessa Nails and Beauty Salon, its owner Vanessa, employees, and agents from and against any and all claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorney’s fees) arising from or related to: (a) the client’s use of our services; (b) the client’s failure to disclose relevant health information; (c) the client’s violation of these Terms and Conditions; (d) any misuse or improper aftercare of services received.

16.5 Professional Advice Disclaimer

Information and recommendations provided by B&B by Vanessa Nails and Beauty Salon, whether in person, on our website, or through social media, are intended for general informational purposes only and do not constitute medical, dermatological, or professional health advice. Clients with specific medical conditions, skin disorders, or health concerns should consult a qualified healthcare professional before receiving beauty treatments. Our staff are trained beauty professionals, not medical practitioners.

16.6 Product Disclaimer

B&B by Vanessa Nails and Beauty Salon uses professional-grade products from reputable brands. However, we do not manufacture these products and cannot guarantee against all possible adverse reactions. Product formulations may change without notice from manufacturers. We are not liable for any claims related to third-party products used during services, provided they are applied according to manufacturer guidelines and industry best practices.

16.7 Force Majeure

B&B by Vanessa Nails and Beauty Salon shall not be liable for any failure or delay in performing its obligations due to circumstances beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to: natural disasters, pandemics, government orders or restrictions, power outages, severe weather events, acts of terrorism, supply chain disruptions, or other force majeure events. In such cases, appointments may be rescheduled without penalty.

16.8 Third-Party Links and Services

Our website or social media may contain links to third-party websites, platforms, or services. B&B by Vanessa Nails and Beauty Salon does not endorse, control, or assume responsibility for the content, privacy policies, or practices of any third-party sites. Access to third-party links is at the client’s own risk.

16.9 Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms and Conditions and this Legal Disclaimer shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the state in which B&B by Vanessa Nails and Beauty Salon operates. Any disputes arising from or related to these terms shall be resolved exclusively in the competent courts of said jurisdiction. The parties agree to attempt good-faith negotiation or mediation before pursuing formal legal proceedings.

16.10 Severability

If any provision of these Terms and Conditions or this Legal Disclaimer is found to be invalid, illegal, or unenforceable by a court of competent jurisdiction, such provision shall be modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it valid and enforceable, or if modification is not possible, it shall be severed. The remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.

By booking an appointment, receiving services, or purchasing products from B&B by Vanessa Nails and Beauty Salon, the client acknowledges that they have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions and this Legal Disclaimer. This acknowledgment constitutes a legally binding agreement between the client and B&B by Vanessa Nails and Beauty Salon.
